Job summary

Pertemps Burton is recruiting a Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Driver in Swadlincote for a permanent, full-time position within a growing manufacturing company. You will receive, unload, stock and prepare orders, scan documentation, and produce dispatch labels using the company’s MRP system.

Ideal candidates have a forklift licence, a full UK driving licence, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a practical, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Aged 23 years or over for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently.
• Competent IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
• Forklift Truck licence.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and accurately book in incoming deliveries.
• Scan and attach delivery documentation per ISO 9001 procedures.
• Pack, wrap, and prepare products for dispatch.
• Produce dispatch documentation and shipping labels.
• Enter delivery information into carrier and logistics software systems.
• Move stock within the warehouse and between locations as required.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain inventory records in the MRP system.

Location: Swadlincote
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay:£13.50-£15 per hour
Contract Type:Temp to Perm, Full-Time

• Conduct stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s MRP system.

Candidate Requirements
