Dobbies is seeking a proactive Warehouse Assistant to support our stores across Scotland, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth stock flow. You’ll help customers at the till and on the shop floor while assisting with deliveries and warehouse hygiene.

In a fast-paced retail environment, you’ll work closely with colleagues, learn stock systems, and contribute to a welcoming, garden-loving team. Training and development are encouraged.

Qualificações

• Experience in retail operations and stock control.
• Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Punctual, reliable and able to work in a busy store environment.
• Forklift license is a plus but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Help customers with transactions across the store.
• Support the warehouse team with receiving deliveries and maintaining stock.
• Ensure store equipment is well maintained.
• Assist with shopfloor tasks and overall store cleanliness.
• Be flexible to work across areas including restaurant service or cash handling when needed.

Our Warehouse Assistants play an essential role in delivering customer experience across our stores - driving sales, promoting customer loyalty and maintaining high warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Supporting the warehouse team by booking in and receiving deliveries, whilst maintaining warehouse standards
• Ensuring all store equipment is well looked after
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, till work, take to care deliveries, restaurant service - an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience

• You'll bring operations expertise with experience in retail and an understanding of stock processes and systems - a relevant forklift truck license would be ideal
