A leading company in the area is seeking a Warehouse Assistant for a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will manage various warehouse operations, ensure equipment functionality, and maintain safety standards. This role requires a proactive individual with significant experience in workshop environments and the necessary qualifications to operate relevant machinery.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a busy workshop environment.
• Valid Forklift License and OH crane certificate.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tool-box meetings and ensure compliance with QHSE policies.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts and OH cranes.
• Handle loading/unloading of cargo baskets and incoming goods.

Job description

Atlas Professionals are recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant on a full time, permanent basis in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Participates in tool-box meetings with all members of the warehouse team.

• Is always fully compliant with the requirements of the QHSE policies, standards, and wears

required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Maintains all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and reports any

problem or deviation to warehouse supervisor.

• Perform daily maintenance checks to forklifts and OH cranes

• Carrying out general forklift duties

• Incoming goods process / mobilization of equipment

• Loading / Unloading Cargo Baskets

• Sourcing Tools as per shipping tickets

OTHER DUTIES:

• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience of working in a busy workshop environment.

• Must hold a valid Forklift License

• Must hold a valid OH crane certificate

• Must be able to work on their own initiative

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

• Is personally committed to continuous improvement

• Listens and is able to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers
