Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an Assembly/Warehouse Operative for a permanent role based in Egham, TW20. You will join a manufacturing production team, reading drawings, assembling and handling goods, and maintaining stock records. Duties include loading/unloading, stock control, and occasional driving as required.

This position offers a standard Monday–Friday shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a busy warehouse environment. Salary is £28K per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or assembly environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings is preferred.
• Capable of lifting and handling materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings
• Receiving and checking incoming goods
• Preparing and dispatching outgoing goods
• General assembly and production work
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
• Stock control and warehouse organisation
• Loading and unloading materials
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
• Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely
• Supporting general warehouse and production activities
• Assisting with driving duties when required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Working as part of a wider production and operations team
