Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting for a Production Operator in Hatfield (AL9) to join a busy manufacturing team. This permanent role offers an early finish every Friday and training to support long-term career progression.

The successful candidate will have experience in production, assembly or warehouse environments, with familiarity of ERP/MRP systems and strong attention to detail. Immediate start available for a reliable team player.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or warehouse environments.
• Picking, packing or stock control experience.
• Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Ability to read picking lists and identify parts accurately.

Responsibilities

• General assembly and basic wiring.
• Picking, packing and preparing products for dispatch.
• Reeling, cutting and palletising materials.
• Checking picking lists and printing labels.
• Using an ERP/inventory system to manage stock.
• Reading basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Supporting production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Working collaboratively with the wider production team.

Production/Warehouse Operator

Hatfield (AL9) | £25,000-£27,500 | Permanent | Immediate Start

Are you looking for a permanent role with a well-established manufacturing company that offers excellent training, career progression and an early finish every Friday?

We're recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy and supportive manufacturing team in Hatfield (AL9). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in production, assembly or warehouse operations who is looking to build a long-term career.

What You'll Be Doing

• General assembly and basic wiring
• Picking, packing and preparing products for dispatch

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am-4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am-12:30pm (early finish every week)
