Job summary

Geosynthetics Limited in Leicester is seeking a Warehouse Apprentice to support day-to-day operations, including stock management, picking and packing orders, and ensuring goods handling in line with our KPIs.

Qualifications

• Interest in starting a career in logistics or warehousing.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital systems.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proactive and eager to learn while supporting the business plan.

Responsibilities

• Achieve personal and department operational targets.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and unloading incoming goods safely.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to customers and transport carriers.
• Maintain and update warehouse management systems and stock inventory records.
• Provide support with regular stock takes and inventory audits.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with Health & Safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding order statuses and inventory updates.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
