Job summary

Grifols is offering a Warehouse and Logistics Apprenticeship in Cambridge. The role develops skills in warehousing, distribution practices, and safety through Level 2 training (ST0259).

You will complete modules, learn GMP concepts, and participate in forklift and safety training while supporting deliveries and day-to-day operations in a busy facility.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at D grade or above including Maths and English (flexible for right candidate).
• High attention to detail.
• IT literate.
• Positive and willing to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete modules within the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2) (ST0259).
• Understand Good Distribution Practices and demonstrate how to apply the principles.
• Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Participate in training in all aspects of Warehousing including forklift, Health and Safety, Manual Handling.
• Understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems.
• Help ensure the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state.
• Provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.
• Proactively engage and take responsibility for learning by seeking support as required.
• Demonstrate a positive and willing attitude.

Warehouse and Logistics Apprentice

Main learning opportunities:

Time commitment:

• Travel to Warehouse location in Water beach, Cambridge -Monday to Friday.
• 35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes and a morning break of 15 minutes (depending on age and in line with the working time directive)

• Competitive salary, dependant on age. A minimum of national living wage
