Job summary

Grifols in Cambridge offers a Warehouse and Logistics Apprenticeship. You will join an international team and gain hands-on experience in warehousing operations, health and safety, and the distribution of Grifols equipment across locations.

The program covers training modules, Good Distribution Practices, and a focus on quality management and company systems. It is designed to develop logistics expertise within a leading global healthcare company.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at D grade or above including Maths and English.
• High attention to detail.
• IT literate.
• Positive and willing to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete the modules within the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2) (ST0259).
• Understand Good Distribution Practices and demonstrate how to apply the principles.
• Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Participate in training in warehousing including forklift, Health and Safety, Manual Handling etc.
• Understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems.
• Help to ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state.
• Provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.

Main Learning Opportunities

• To complete the modules within the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2) (ST0259)

Time Commitment

• Travel to Warehouse location in Water beach, Cambridge -Monday to Friday.
• 35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes and a morning break of 15 minutes (depending on age and in line with the working time directive)
