Position: Warehouse and Cleaning Operative
Location: Rotherham
Hours: 37.5 per week. Example: (4-week rolling pattern) Earlies Mon - Fri 08:00 - 16:00 Lates Mon-Fri 10:30-18:30 Sat/Sun - 08:00 - 16:00
Salary: £22,425.00

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

1. Loading and unloading our delivery vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.
2. Decontamination and cleaning of medical devices and equipment.
3. Ensuring that ‘goods in and out’ are accounted for utilising the barcode system scanners.
4. Pick and quality assure that day’s delivery workload.
5. Delivering service with empathy and care. Although this role may not be directly customer facing, you will be an integral member of the Medequip Team, and have a duty of care to our service users.
6. Working well independently and as part of a team.
7. Carrying out PAT testing and LOLER checking.
8. Sometimes will be required to carry out general repair tasks within your depot.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Ideally some experience in a warehouse and/or cleaning operative role is desirable.
• Be flexible with working days/hours to suit the needs of the business.
• Participate in an emergency on-call rota.
