Job summary

Great Bear is recruiting a Warehouse Allocator at our Rugby site for a full-time permanent role. Salary is £29,718 per annum with 2pm-10pm shifts, Monday to Friday. You will control equipment allocation, pre-allocate loads, and maintain shift plans to ensure timely dispatch.

We value proactive, IT-literate candidates with Warehouse/3PL experience. The role includes reporting, stock investigations, and collaboration across teams to optimise flow on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse/3PL environment.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• IT literate with knowledge of MS Office and WMS databases.

Responsibilities

• Controlling equipment allocation within specified areas.
• Pre-allocating loads and maintaining the advanced pick position per shift plan.
• Monitor and update shift plans to provide regular progress updates.
• Move staff between areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
• Run orders in line with instructions and scheduled dispatch times.
• Select loading and unloading bays based on current requirements.
• Update electronic schedules and auto-store to reflect on-site activity.
• Investigate stock shortages on picks and monitor replenishments.
• Compile and send reports as required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Allocator to join our friendly team at our Rugby site on a full time permanent basis!

Salary: £29,718 per annum.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm.

Responsibilities

• Controlling equipment allocation within specified areas.
• Pre-allocating loads and ensuring advanced pick position is maintained in line with shift plan.
• Monitoring and updating shift plans in order to deliver regular progress updates.
• Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
• Running orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
• Selecting appropriate loading and unloading bays based on current operational requirements.
• Updating the electronic schedule and auto-store systems to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
• Carrying out stock shortage investigations on picks and monitoring replenishments.
• Compiling and sending reports as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse/3PL environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
• IT literate with knowledge surrounding MS Office and various WMS databases.
• Effective organisation skills with the ability to work from your own initiative.
