Job summary

Culina is seeking a Warehouse Allocator for the Contract division in the UK. The role is full-time and permanent, with night shifts from 10pm to 6am, Monday to Friday. You will set up and run orders in line with the shift plan, coordinating with First Line Managers to ensure continuous workflow and on-time dispatches.

Salary is £29,718 per annum. The role requires proven warehouse/3PL experience, strong communication, and IT literacy with MS Office and WMS databases.

Responsibilities

• Control equipment allocation within specified areas.
• Pre-allocate loads and maintain advanced pick position.
• Monitor and adjust shift plans for timely dispatches.
• Move staff across areas to maintain workflow.
• Run orders to meet scheduled dispatch times.
• Select loading/unloading bays per operations.
• Update electronic schedules and systems for on-site activities.
• Investigate stock shortages and monitor replenishments.
• Compile and send required reports.

Life in this role

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Warehouse Allocator on afull time permanentbasis.

As a Warehouse Allocator, you will also set up and run orders in line with the shift plan to meet scheduled dispatch times. You should work closely with the warehouse First Line Managers to effectively manage resource and ensure that the flow of work is continuous to maximise efficiency.

Salary: £29,718 per annum.

Working hours: Monday-Friday nights, 10pm-6am.

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Allocator include:

• Controlling equipment allocation within specified areas.
• Pre-allocating loads and ensuring advanced pick position is maintained in line with shift plan.
• Monitoring and updating shift plans in order to deliver regular progress updates.
• Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
• Running orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
• Selecting appropriate loading and unloading bays based on current operational requirements.
• Updating the electronic schedule and auto-store systems to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
• Carrying out stock shortage investigations on picks and monitoring replenishments.
• Compiling and sending reports as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse/3PL environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
• IT literate with knowledge surrounding MS Office and various WMS databases.
• Effective organisation skills with the ability to work from your own initiative.
