Job summary

GXO Logistics in West Hallam (DE7 6HE) is hiring a Warehouse Administrator to support the management team and drive site KPIs. The role covers administrative duties, order release/despatch, deliveries coordination, and documentation for shipments, interacting with teams, hauliers and customers.

The position is full-time, permanent, on a 5-out-of-7 rotating shift (06:00–22:00), 7.5 hours daily. Applicants should be able to work independently and adapt to an active warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
• Experience using SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of administrative duties to support day-to-day operations.
• Oversee order system – release and despatch orders.
• Coordinate and book deliveries, manage communications with customers by phone and email.
• Prepare documentation for incoming/outgoing shipments and liaise with teams, hauliers and customers.
