An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, dynamic individual to join the team responsible for the Community Inpatient Wards in East Berkshire.

Henry Tudor Ward at St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead provides discharge to assess, medical optimisation, sub-acute medical and rehabilitation care to older patients across the East of Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring smooth and efficient management and day to day running of Henry Tudor Ward
• To provide visible, first line management to the nursing and administrative staff on the ward
• Work with acute, community services and local stakeholders both within the locality and outside to ensure the timely and appropriate transfer of patients into the community hospital and onwards to their future destination.
• To provide guidance and advice in both basic and complex issues surrounding patient and staff needs.
• To act as a role model to all staff, demonstrating a high level of patient care and clinical leadership
