NCIC (North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust) seeks a motivated Housekeeper/Kitchen Assistant for Ward 3, Whitehaven. The role is 30 hours per week, mainly 12:00–20:00, on a ward focused on stroke rehabilitation, with in-house training provided.

Qualifications

• Good general education.
• NVQ 1 in hotel services/food service or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or caring environment.
• Experience in housekeeping/domestic duties.
• Acute hospital work or healthcare environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff under supervision.
• Serve patient meals and beverages at scheduled times; assist with feeding when needed.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of cleaning and hygiene in ward kitchens and related rooms.
• Support delivery of care as part of a multidisciplinary team on Ward 3 (stroke rehabilitation).
• Adhere to food hygiene, infection prevention and COSHH requirements.
