The ward clerk will provide an efficient clerical service to support the smooth running of day-to-day operational issues within the ward environment. The ward clerk will work as part of a busy team providing professional reception duties and clerical support to the Mental Health Ward/s and be expected to liaise in a professional manner with patients, visitors, colleagues, and other agencies and undertake a wide spectrum of duties within the confines of the role.
This post is fixed term for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.
As the ward clerk the broad spectrum of the role will encompass general office duties, clerical duties, reception and telephone duties. The ward clerk may also be required to cover at any site within the Mental Health Directorate as directed by their line manager.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
