South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Pharmacy Technicians to join the Integrated Medicines Management (IMM) team. Working outside the Dispensary with dedicated Pharmacists at ward level, you will assess patients’ own drugs, ensure bedside medicine supplies and support discharge planning.

Applicants must be registered with the GPhC and hold NVQ Pharmacy Level 3 with BTEC or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the GPhC.
• NVQ Pharmacy Level 3 with BTEC or equivalent underpinning knowledge.
• Basic IT skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide IMM service outside the Dispensary with Pharmacists at ward level.
• Counsel patients on medicines and perform medicines reconciliation.
