A healthcare trust in Crawley is looking for an experienced administrator for a part-time position. Responsibilities include providing administrative support and assisting senior nursing staff. Candidates should have experience in a healthcare environment, possess good interpersonal skills, and demonstrate proficiency in IT. Starting salary ranges from £24,625 to £25,674 per annum, pro rata. Flexible working options available.
We are looking for experienced administrators to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team at Crawley Hospital, Piper ward Intermediate Care Unit.
We have a post for 15 hours per week, days to be agreed, working alongside a full time ward administrator.

The main duties of the role are, to provide administration and clerical support on the units ensuring that anefficient communications systems are adhered to. Provide solutions for routine queries/concerns about services and deciding what to refer to senior staff.To provide essential cover for other administrative staff as requested by the wardmanager.
To be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and communication skills working effectively as part of a team within a healthcare environment with patients, visitors, relatives as well as medical, nursing and therapy staff.
To use own initiative and ability to prioritise own work. Arrange team meetings as requested by colleagues across a designated group of ICUs. To be the point of contact as SystmOne champion to disseminate new functions within the system and ensure all staff are made aware of any changes. Support the Ward Manager in the recruitment and retention of new staff and associated processes used by the Trust e.g. NHS Jobs / TRAC.
Assist the Ward Manager in reviewing office / administrative procedures. To liaise with senior nursing staff regarding forthcoming staffing requirement
