You will identify opportunities, research markets, build lasting relationships and help grow a robust pipeline of work.

Based in Cardiff, the role offers scope to shape how business development is done, collaborate with senior leadership and the marketing team, attend events and translate engagement into new projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, client engagement, and related marketing roles within built environment/design sectors.
• Organised, proactive, commercially-minded with strong relationship skills.
• Ability to initiate and identify opportunities and work collaboratively to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Wales.
• Research potential clients, emerging markets and industry trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Monitor market intelligence and identify opportunities for growth.
• Attend relevant conferences, events and networking opportunities.
• Arrange and support client meetings, seminars and engagement events.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align BD activity with growth strategy.
• Monitor and report on BD activity and opportunities.
• Support client relationship management and follow up on engagement.
