We are currently recruiting Waking Nightshift Autism Practitioners to support a good-humoured, young gentleman at Clannalba. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by supporting someone to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life.
This young person enjoys interacting, spending time outdoors, playing ball and on the swings, going on shopping trips, spotting lorries, eating chocolate, and having a laugh! His current support team describe him as having an infectious laugh and a great personality! He enjoys going at his own pace and values having a close relationship with his family.
This person responds best to a trusted team who focus on his support, showing resilience, patience, understanding, compassion, and providing a relaxing, low arousal environment. He requires full support with personal care.
You will play a key role in supporting his wellbeing and creating a relaxed, low-arousal environment to promote rest, as well as supporting him with all aspects of personal care.
We are looking for fun, enthusiastic, and adaptable people who can follow the lead of the person you support. You should be calm under pressure, naturally collaborative, with a laid-back personality, proactive mindset, and caring nature.
