You will work 11:00pm–7:00am, supporting young people to stay safe and settled through the night, and you’ll help create a trauma-informed environment using attachment theory, PACE, NVR and positive behaviour support.

A brand-new 3-bed residential children's home in Sale is looking for a dedicated Waking Night Residential Support Worker to join the team.
This is an opportunity to join a new service from the beginning and play an important role in creating a safe, stable and supportive environment for young people.
Working as part of the night team, you will be responsible for supporting the young people throughout the night, ensuring they are safe, settled and appropriately supported.
The home follows a trauma-informed approach, drawing on:
You will need to be confident working independently overnight while knowing when to elevate concerns to management and follow agreed procedures.
An NVQ/Level 3 qualification is not essential, although it would be desirable.
Previous experience working with children or young people is also desirable, particularly within residential childcare, care, education or another relevant support environment.

You’ll be joining a supportive management structure with a strong Senior Leadership Team behind the service.
