Job summary

Radis Community Care in Bideford is seeking a caring Waking Nights Support Worker to help adults live independently in their own homes, with shifts from 10pm to 7am.

You will work across Week 1 and Week 2 patterns, supporting with personal care, medication, meals, and community access, in a friendly, local team.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles is beneficial.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends is important.
• NVQ or equivalent qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks and daily living activities.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Support with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Help clients access local community activities and appointments.
• Assist with day-to-day household tasks and routines.

Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team based at Moreton Court, Birdwood Crescent, Bideford, North Devon, EX39 3FP

Part Time hours

Shifts
10pm - 7am
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday

Week 2 - Thursday, Friday, Saturday

The Role of a Support Worker

As a Support Worker you will be working with people to live independently within their own home and local community by

• Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing etc.
• Supporting with medication administration
• Supporting with meal preparation
• Supporting with accessing the local community e.g., Shopping, activities, trips
• Supporting with day-to-day household duties
• Supporting with any other day routines the people we support have
