Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a Waking Nights Support Worker to join our team based around the Cardiff area, particularly St Mellons. The role runs from 7pm to 7am, supporting individuals to live independently at home and in the local community.

You will provide personal care, assist with medication, help with meals and daily activities, and accompany clients on shopping and outings. Radis emphasises consistency of support and equal opportunities; sponsorship is not offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care tasks such as washing and dressing.
• Ability to assist with medication administration.
• Ability to prepare meals and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks (washing, dressing, etc).
• Support with medication administration.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Help residents access local community activities and services.
• Assist with day-to-day household duties.

The Role of a Support Worker

As a Support Worker you will be working with people to live independently within their own home and local community by

• Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing etc.
• Supporting with medication administration

• Supporting with accessing the local community e.g., Shopping, activities, trips
• Supporting with day-to-day household duties
• Supporting with any other day routines the people we support have
