Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a Residential Support Worker (Waking Nights) for the Residential Family Centre in Aylesbury. You will help provide a safe, supportive environment for children aged 0-6, supporting parents with parenting skills and managing safeguarding concerns as part of a dedicated assessment team.

The role involves collaboration with social workers, foster carers, and other professionals, with CCTV monitoring as part of night shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in social care or family support is desirable.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Provide a safe, supportive living environment for residents and their children.
• Support parents to develop parenting skills and confidence.
• Identify and manage safeguarding concerns affecting children's welfare.
• Assist with assessments of families' long-term capacity and wellbeing.
• Monitor CCTV on a rota basis and coordinate with partners and professionals.
