Job summary

We Are Care in Nottingham (NG5) is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker for a residential service for adults with complex needs. The role is available as temp to perm, with full-time 36 hours or part-time 18 hours per week.

You start on shifts through We Are Care, with a path to a permanent contract. The role involves night-time support, ensuring safety and calm, following care plans and risk assessments, and maintaining night records to hand over to the day team.

Qualifications

• Temp to perm waking night Support Worker roles in a residential service for adults with complex needs in Nottingham (NG5).
• Full time at 36 hours a week, any 4 nights out of 7, or part time at 18 hours a week.
• Fair pay, with holiday pay included in your hourly rate and a workplace pension where eligible.
• Open to female applicants only, as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

• Support adults through the night, keeping them safe and settled.
• Respond calmly to incidents and follow care plans and risk assessments.
• Keep clear night records and hand over to the day team.
