What will you receive?
About your role
As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with complex needs such as Autism, Learning Disabilities, challenging behaviours, physical disabilities, and Mental Health conditions. The individuals may display challenging behaviour, so remaining calm and level-headed is essential.
Role Responsibilities
Full training will be provided, along with ongoing support from our staff team and Wellbeing Officer. You will encourage individuals to participate in activities or follow their interests, including community involvement. You will coordinate scheduled activities using personalized rotas and liaise with others to ensure attendance at activities and appointments.
Role Requirements
You need excellent communication and listening skills to support individuals using various communication methods. Experience or desire to support people with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour is essential. Basic literacy and numerical skills (GCSE level or equivalent) are required. You must commit to ongoing personal development and hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
