We are currently seeking new team members for our services located in the Park North area of Swindon. At Bembridge House we support eight adults (some with complex needs) with their day to day lives, including a variety of activities, from shopping, travelling around the area, going to cinema, and beyond.
Are you able to support someone throughout the night, ensuring their safety and wellbeing, and giving them the security of knowing there is always someone there for them?
All we need to see is that you share our values and are committed to supporting people to get the most out of life.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be there for the people we support to provide personal care, as required, and assist them if they are up in the night, or maybe just to keep them company while they settle down to sleep. You will perform housekeeping duties and ensure the home is clean and safe and conduct regular checks on the people you are supporting.
The shifts are 10 hours waking nights from 21:30 to 07:30. However, you will initially work on day shifts to complete your induction and training and to build positive relationships with the people we support and get to know the team and the service.
In addition, you will be required now and then to attend meetings and training during the day to enable you to keep in touch with the service as a whole, and to reinforce positive cultures.
If you are passionate about making a difference in people's lives and possess the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
At Milestones Trust we recognise that without the hard work, commitment and passion of our staff, we wouldn’t be the charity that we are today. In return, we are committed to rewarding you with a competitive pay and benefits package including:
We pride ourselves with being able to offer staff opportunities to develop and progress their careers within the Trust.
