Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Female Support Worker at Merryden to provide waking night care for adults (18+) with complex and enduring mental health needs in South and West Wales. You will build positive relationships, support daily living tasks, personal care, and help individuals move toward greater independence.

Qualifications

• Caring attitude and motivation to support others.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and stay awake during night hours.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with people by listening and planning goals.
• Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Assist with personal care and medication administration as required.
• Plan and participate in activities and days out to promote independence.
• Support individuals to become more independent where possible.
