Look Ahead Care and Support in Richmond is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to join our Mental Health Service. No experience required, just the right values and a passion for helping people live independently.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, earning £29,003.97 per year, and provide overnight support, build supportive relationships, assist with daily living tasks, and help maintain a safe environment.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent with little or some previous relevant sector work experience

Aufgaben

• Build supportive, trusting relationships with customers and create a positive atmosphere
• Work with the team to manage the service caseload and administrative duties
• Conduct key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals
• Assess and manage risks with an attitude of positive risk taking
• Support daily living activities and help customers live independently
• Assist in maintaining a healthy living environment and personal hygiene
• Record and report customer incidents and manage referrals
• Develop relationships with partner organisations to improve outcomes
• Follow lone working protocols and health and safety procedures
• Involve customers in service design and delivery
• Encourage tenants to pay rent and avoid debt
• Adhere to Look Ahead health and safety policies
• Take on shift-leading responsibilities in managers' absence
• Handover key information between shifts and maintain records
• Engage in learning and development activities
