Job summary

CareTech is hiring a Waking Night Support Worker at La Marsh in Cottenham, Cambridge. This permanent, full-time position offers 30 hours per week on a rota that includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs, providing person-centred care and promoting independence. Location is Cottenham with good access to public transport.

Qualifications

• Willingness to achieve Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota.
• Category D1 driving licence is essential.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
