Job summary

Abbeycare and Nursing LTD in Sheffield is seeking Waking Night Support Workers to deliver safe, person-centred overnight care in clients' homes. You will conduct welfare checks, assist with personal care, monitor health needs, and maintain a calm, respectful environment throughout night shifts.

Flexible part-time and full-time roles available (minimum 24 hours per week) with shifts of 10–12 hours on nights, covering Monday to Sunday in S13/S35 areas; full UK driving licence is desirable for

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Experience in a support or care setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

Providing overnight supervision and support to ensure individuals’ safety and wellbeing.
Conducting regular welfare checks and responding promptly to any needs or concerns.
Supporting with personal care where required during the night.
Administering medication in line with company policies and procedures.
Maintaining accurate records, including incident reports and night logs.
Ensuring the home environment remains clean, safe, and secure.
