Job summary

Deafblind UK are recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker for Rainbow Court, Peterborough, to support around 20 individuals to live independently. You will deliver person-centred care overnight, assist with personal care, night routines, and safety.

Shifts are 22:00–08:00 on a 4 on/4 off pattern, with a full UK driving licence and PEG training required. We offer 28 days leave, health plan, GP access, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care settings.
• Understanding safeguarding and risk management.
• Ability to complete records and use IT.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support during the night.
• Support night-time routines and ensure comfort.
• Monitor individuals and respond to needs promptly.
• Offer reassurance and companionship during the night.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and complete tasks.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments, and policies.
• Keep accurate records of night-time support and wellbeing.
