Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking a dedicated Children's Support Worker to provide trauma‑informed support to young people in residential and community settings across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. You will help with daily routines, education, and independence, acting as a trusted adult in challenging moments.

Holders of a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle are preferred, with 2–3 shifts per week.

About the Role

As a Children's Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs within residential settings and community-based support packages.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll help provide structure, consistency and positive role modelling while supporting young people to achieve their individual goals.

Whether it's helping with daily routines, encouraging independence, supporting education, or simply being a trusted adult during difficult moments, your work will have a genuine impact.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to your own vehicle for work.

Desirable

• Previous experience supporting children or young people (paid or voluntary).
• NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent.
