Job summary

Sense is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker for Newton Court, Paston, Peterborough. You will work 10:00pm–7:00am on a two-week rota, 18–27 hours per week, with a £13.00 per hour rate plus a 50p night allowance.

The role involves staying awake to support residents through the night, ensuring safety and a calm environment until the morning team arrives. Training is provided, DBS checks are free, and there are generous holiday and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Waking Night Support Worker role including awake during night duties.
• Ability to support people with mobility needs and maintain safety.
• Willingness to train and develop in the role.

Responsibilities

• Stay awake and monitor residents throughout the night.
• Provide reassurance and calm presence until morning team arrives.
• Keep accurate records and handover notes for the morning shift.
• Attend training and contribute to care plans.
