Creative Support is a non-profit organisation which provides high quality person centred social care services. Working to empower people with a range of care needs to live independent and fulfilling lives, we are committed to helping our clients recognise their strengths, abilities and personal resources.

You will be providing personalised care and support to adults with learning disabilities, all who have unique support needs. To provide this care we require warm, motivated and person-centred Support Workers with a keen interest in providing personalised support to meet individual care plans.

You will work in the principle of Creative Support, promoting active and independent lifestyles for the adults you support. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to provide respectful personal care. We welcome applicants who are experienced as well as those who are looking for a new career in the care sector.

Your duties as a Relief Support Worker will include:

  • Providing respectful care, as well as practical and emotional support to the service users at our Wakefield services.
  • Maximising social opportunities and community engagement
  • Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users
  • Collaborating with colleagues, families and involved professionals to ensure a coordinated and consistent service
  • You can chose to be paid on a weekly or monthly basis
