Job summary

Voyage Care in Taunton is seeking a compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to help residents gain independence and dignity. You will work nights, supporting routines and safety checks in a welcoming home environment.

Hours are 20:30–08:00, 3 or 4 nights per week, with opportunities to grow within a sector leading organisation and access to sector-leading benefits and rewards.

Qualifications

• Passion for enhancing quality of life for people we support.
• Caring, hands-on approach with a genuine attitude.
• Willing to assist with bedtime routines and personal care.
• Comfortable performing light domestic duties during downtime.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Help residents gain more independence during the night.
• Support a group of people in a Taunton residential service.
• Assist with bedtime routines and regular checks throughout the night.
• Complete light domestic duties in spare time when appropriate.

Waking Night Support Worker – Taunton - £13.18 ph

Hours 2030- 0800 3 or 4 nights a week

As a Waking Night support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service in Taunton is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same. As a Night Support Worker, you’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by assisting with bed time routines, including personal care and completing regular checks throughout the night. You will also be expected to complete light domestic duties in any spare time.
