Job summary

CareTech is recruiting Waking Night Support Workers for our Cedar Bungalows service in Hothfield. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in a person-centred way, following individual support plans.

Join a committed team with training provided and opportunities for progression. The role requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins, and is based in Ashford, Kent, UK.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).
• No previous experience? If you have the passion, we'll provide full training and a structured induction programme.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

About the Service

Cedar Bungalows in Hothfield specialises in adults with learning difficulties, autism and mental health. Currently Cedars Bungalow supports 4 service users, who enjoy its beautiful location and surroundings. Cedars boasts a large garden and each bungalow offers spacious rooms with lots of light. The service users enjoy days out such as horse carriage riding, the local community and they benefit from a fabulous team.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we'll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
