Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd is hiring a Waking Night Support Worker for Cedar Bungalows in Hothfield, Ashford. The role supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, delivering person-centred support overnight and participating in community activities.

You will work a rota including nights, with full training provided, DBS check paid for by CareTech, and opportunities for progression within a supportive team.

Location: Hothfield, Ashford

Rate: £13.54 per hour

Permanent | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week

About the Service

Cedar Bungalows in Hothfield specialises in adults with learning difficulties, autism and mental health.

Currently Cedars Bungalow supports 4 service users, who enjoy its beautiful location and surroundings.

Cedars boasts a large garden and each bungalow offers spacious rooms with lots of light.

The service users enjoy days out such as horse carriage riding, the local community and they benefit from a fabulous team.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we'll provide full training and a structured induction programme.

Requirements

• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Drivers desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
