Job summary

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall provides in-home complex care with clinical oversight from its own Registered Nurse. We are seeking a female Waking Night Care Assistant to support one customer in Crantock, awake overnight, building a calm, familiar routine.

The role requires previous complex care experience, a full UK driving licence, and a commitment to high-quality care with induction and specialist training before independent work.

Qualifications

• Female-only role as a genuine occupational requirement.
• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle essential.
• At least one year of complex care experience.

Responsibilities

• Waking night support in the customer's home, awake and alert.
• Personal care with dignity and respect.
• PEG feeding.
• Repositioning and settling the customer.
• Watching for changes in comfort, breathing and wellbeing; act accordingly.
• Maintaining clear, accurate records and handing over to the wider team.
