Job summary

Middlesbrough Council is seeking a dedicated waking night care assistant to join Levick Court, a 24-hour service for adults with learning disabilities. The role is 23.34 hours per week, on-site, with duties including individualised care plans and supporting activities during night hours.

You will work with a friendly team, have good communication skills, and be committed to customer-led service. DBS checks apply; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities.
• Good communication skills to keep people engaged during night shifts.
• Right to work in the UK at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualised plans of care.
• Support service users in chosen activities.
• Work as directed by senior staff.
• Maintain engagement and provide compassionate night-time care.
• Carry out housekeeping duties as required.
