Job summary

Agincare’s home care service is seeking a Care Assistant for waking night shifts, supporting people to stay in their own homes. The role covers personal care, daily routines, medication support, meals and companionship, with some household tasks. Nights are the main feature, and funded training up to QCF level 5 is offered.

No prior care experience or qualifications are required, but visa sponsorship is not available. Flexibility to work alternate weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work alternate weekends.
• Minimum of 12 months remaining on the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, including personal care and household tasks.
• Help with medication as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage in friendly conversation.
• Assist with shopping and preparing nutritious meals.
• Make tea and be a reassuring presence for clients.
