Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd seeks a Female Waking Night Support Worker to provide person-centred support at Grosvenor Court in Folkestone. The role covers Friday and Saturday nights, with a 22-hour weekly schedule and a starting rate of £13.03 per hour.

Training and DBS clearance are provided by CareTech. The position requires resilience, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Drivers desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
