The Oystercatcher in Greenwich, London, is seeking enthusiastic Waiting/Bar Staff to deliver warm, attentive service in a busy, two-floor venue with river views.

You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments while maintaining cleanliness and assisting with bar service. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, are required.

Qualifications

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Waiting Staff
  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

  • Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about the menu.

  • Create cocktails, handle drink orders, and ensure the bar area is stocked and clean.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.
  • Monitor customer intoxication levels and serve responsibly.
  • Assist in keeping the bar area organized and well-stocked.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a hospitality role (waiting or bar staff) is preferred but not required.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
