Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

Please note: This role is contracted to 50 weeks per year.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feels welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other necessary duties.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team is proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

Our ideal Waiter/Waitress will:

• Have previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Possess good communication skills with a focus on great customer service.
• Be a team player with a can-do attitude.
• Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
