Job summary

Rick Stein Restaurants in Padstow is seeking a warm and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our front-of-house team. You’ll help create relaxed, memorable dining experiences and share knowledge of our menus and drinks with confidence.

We look for a friendly, positive attitude and a genuine interest in food and hospitality. Training is provided, with opportunities to progress within a respected hospitality group and enjoy staff meals and generous discounts.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating relaxed, memorable dining experiences for every guest
• Sharing knowledge of our menus, daily specials, and drinks with confidence
• Anticipating guest needs and offering thoughtful recommendations
• Working closely with the kitchen and bar to deliver seamless service
• Upholding the high standards that define the Rick Stein name

What We’re Looking For

• A friendly, positive attitude and a natural sense of hospitality
• Previous waiting experience (great, but not essential – we’ll train the right person)
• An interest in food, wine, and seafood
• Confidence in recommending dishes, sides, and drinks to enhance the guest experience
• A team player who thrives in a busy, professional environment

St Petroc’s Bistro was the second of Rick Stein and Jill Stein’s restaurants opened in 1988. Our Bistro has grown over the years specialising in bistro food from Britain, France, Spain and Italy. In 2016 Ruby’s Bar was opened next door to St Petroc’s Bistro, our front of house team enjoy looking after guests at both St Petroc’s Bistro and Ruby’s Bar.
