Rick Stein Restaurants in Padstow is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Front of House to lead our Front of House team, uphold warm, genuine service and ensure every service runs smoothly.

We’re looking for an experienced and confident Assistant Manager to join our Front of House team — someone who loves hospitality, enjoys leading people, and takes pride in making sure every service runs smoothly.

Working alongside the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the team, maintaining our high standards and creating the warm, genuine service that Rick Stein Restaurants are known for.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant and Front of House team
• Leading, motivating and developing the team to deliver warm, knowledgeable and exceptional service
• Setting the standard on the floor and leading by example throughout every service
• Helping to create and manage staff rotas, training plans and performance development
• Building the team’s knowledge of our food, wine and drinks, and making sure this shines through in the guest experience
• Listening to guests, responding to feedback and resolving any issues with confidence and professionalism
• Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless, efficient service
• Supporting sales, upselling and overall restaurant performance
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and mentoring new team members
• Helping to maintain high standards of presentation, service and operational excellence at all times

You’ll already have experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a professional hospitality environment, and you’ll be ready to take the next step in your career.

The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow is famous for establishing an international reputation for the very freshest fish and shellfish, often landed on our doorstep.
