The Gleneagles Hotel in Edinburgh is seeking a thoughtful and confident Waiter to join our Food and Beverage team. You will deliver a warm, memorable dining experience, take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain the highest standards of service.

Qualifikationen

• You have previous waiter and customer service experience and want to develop your skills in a casual restaurant.
• Experience in a luxury hospitality environment would be ideal, but a great attitude is essential.

• Playing a significant part in making sure both the lunch and dinner operation runs without a hitch, and our service is smooth
• You’ll be proficiently up selling and encouraging other team members to do the same at every opportunity
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

The kind of person we're looking for:

• You have previous waiter and customer service experience, and are looking to further develop your expertise within a casual restaurant
• Having had experience within a luxury hospitality environment would be ideal, however having a great attitude is essential
• Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
• You’ll be an early bird some days and a night owl other, working flexibly during the week and weekends
• Keen eye for detail, an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation
• You want to be the best and work with the best – learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us
• Having a high level of resilience and the ability to deal with fast-paced environments is essential
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
• You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
