The position is a full‑time contract, 40 hours per week, with shift patterns including weekends. Training is provided, and staff meals, parking, and a generous holiday allowance are included.

• Experience as a waiter in a luxury hotel.
• Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training required or to be completed during probation.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work across stations.

Competitive renumeration package up to £34,520 per annum

Prestonfield House, one of Scotland's most exclusive luxury hotels and holder of the AA's supreme accolade of Five Red Stars, is seeking an experienced Waiter to join its dedicated team.

Built in 1687 by the King's architect Sir William Bruce as the private residence of Edinburgh's Lord Provost, Prestonfield today is celebrated for its opulent interiors and historic grandeur. With 18 individually designed bedrooms, 5 luxurious suites, 3 historic private dining rooms, the celebrated Rhubarb restaurant, and the circular Georgian Stables Ballroom, Prestonfield is renowned for its heritage, elegance, and award-winning hospitality.

Our package includes:

• Total on-target earnings for this role is up to £34,520 per annum, comprising competitive hourly rates of £11.50-£12.75 per hour, equivalent to £23,920-£26,520 per annum (based on a 40-hour working week), plus a share of gratuities estimated at approximately £8,000 per annum, paid monthly
• Full time permanent contract working 40 hours per week, working 5 days from 7including weekends

As a Waiter you will assist our team with restaurant preparation; planning and running your own station, working in both Rhubarb and Private Dining whilst the main focus be on exceeding our guests high expectations.

Candidates should have Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training or candidates will be required to complete Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training during probationary period.
