Searchability in Cheltenham, UK is seeking a Vulnerability Researcher to join a specialist security team. You will investigate complex software, systems and devices to identify vulnerabilities and understand exploitation techniques across OS internals and low-level software.

Qualifications

• Experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro or Ghidra.
• Knowledge of vulnerability research, bug hunting or ethical hacking.
• Understanding of exploitation techniques and mitigations.
• Knowledge of Linux and operating system internals.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex software, systems and devices to identify vulnerabilities and understand exploitation techniques.
• Work across areas including reverse engineering, OS internals, exploitation techniques and low-level software analysis.
• Potentially work with network protocols, mobile platforms, embedded systems and hardware debugging.
