Starling is seeking a highly motivated Vulnerability Management Engineer to join our Cyber Security team. You will design and maintain tooling, automate remediation workflows, and collaborate with engineering to prioritise fixes based on risk.

You’ll synthesize vulnerability data into actionable insights, develop integrations, and uphold global security standards across our hybrid infrastructure. This role offers growth in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerized environments.
• Proficiency in building automation, tooling, and integrations.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and vulnerability management processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain vulnerability management tooling and solutions.
• Automate processes to reduce manual overhead and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritise remediation based on risk.
• Translate vulnerability data into actionable reports and metrics for leadership.
• Create and maintain playbooks for triage, remediation, and incident response.
