Job summary

Starling is seeking a skilled Vulnerability Management Engineer to join our Cyber Security team. You will design and maintain tooling, automate processes, and work with engineering to prioritise remediation based on risk.

You will synthesize vulnerability data into actionable insights, build integrations, and ensure compliance with global security standards while keeping pace with evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Experience in vulnerability management with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Hands-on with container security, Kubernetes, and image scanning.
• Strong automation focus and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain vulnerability management tooling and solutions.
• Create automated processes to reduce manual overhead and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to prioritise remediation activities.
• Translate vulnerability data into actionable risk insights and reports.
• Develop integrations between internal/external platforms for data capture.
• Maintain compliance with security standards and regulatory frameworks.
